ABOUT EMILY DEARHAM

I specialise in Foundation Phase teaching. This is from the ages of 5 to 9. I have taken a special interest in Grade R, the first year of school before formal schooling starts. It is a unique year of school, where play-learning is completely integrated.

I am 25 years old. I am a qualified Foundation Phase teacher, obtaining my degree at CPUT in Wellington (2022). I am an absolute Education fanatic and love to share my journey and the realities of being in the classroom via social media. I am a businesswoman and entrepreneur, with a goal to change teaching and education in South Africa, inspiring one heart at a time. I am diagnosed with ADHD, and while this is sometimes challenging, I see it as a superpower to help me change the world!

Currently teaching at Amstelhof Primary School, in Paarl, Western Cape.
