ABOUT REFILWE MAPONYA

Refilwe Maponya is an Advance Midwife and Neonatal Specialist with over 10 years of experience in both the government and private sector. She serves as a District Mother, Child and Women's Health and Nutritional (MCWHN) Clinical Coordinator in Bojanala District, North West Province.

She is a mother, a previous breastmilk donor and currently a PhD student at the University of Johannesburg. Her research niche is finding innovative ways to assist women in breastfeeding practices especially in the work environment.
